Bridge

Leader : Des Norsworthy

Held on 2nd Monday of each month from 2.00pm until 4.00pm

At present there are 11 "experienced" members and 4 beginners in the Group

The Bridge Group was set up several years ago, it's main purpose was (and is) to encourage those who haven't played before, or who are returning after a long "lay-off" to reach or return to a standard to enjoy "Social Rubber Bridge", without taking the game too seriously ! It is essentially a Self Help Group, in the sense that we all enjoy "playing and learning" together.

When we were setting up the Group, most of the members who expressed an interest were already involved with other Groups and it was agreed that the afternoon of the second Monday in the month was the best time to hold our regular monthly meetings. However most of our members like to meet more frequently than once a month and other meetings are arranged informally at the monthly meetings.
