Group  1

Leader : Gordon Taylor Held on Wednesdays fortnightly at 10.00am in various members homes

There are approximately 12 members who accept that we can express our views on any subject be it political, religious or ethical without infringing on the right of others to agree or disagree. Membership of the group has to be limited both to involve all participants in the discussions and to be able to accommodate them in our homes. Subjects for discussion at each meeting is usually chosen in advance to enable some preparation.

Group  2

Hostess : Vivienne Stokes

This group meets on the second Friday morning in the month from 10a.m. to 12 noon, and usually goes on longer! We have discussed a variety of topics, members taking turns to provide a subject. A newspaper cutting is brought and read, and the member leading the group that morning sets the discussion off with their own views. We have had both serious and amusing discussions, and they are all lively!

Group  3

Leader : Rod Whitehead

Meetings held on 2nd Thursday of the month at 7.30pm

at 50, Hampton Road, Oswestry

Contact Joyce or Rod Whitehead. New members welcome.

The discussion for January was "The Food We Eat"

At each meeting the group decides the topic for the next meeting.
