Members allow other members to look at their gardens to get ideas. Sometimes a quiz is arranged to identify plants, herbs and trees within the garden boundry. On occasions a members has requested ideas to replan a garden. Time in also spent enjoying each others company over a tea or coffee.

This is a practical "Hands On" Group as far as possible, and would welcome anyone with a love of gardening. Our aim is to share our expertise and ideas. We are a newly formed group, and members of the group will be invited to make suggestions for future meetings.

We had a very enjoyable and informative trip to Dibleys Nurseries during 2002 and Mr. Dibley gave us a tour of his garden, and explained how to grow and propagate Streptocarpus, in which they specialise, With this in mind please bring a streptocarpus leaf,(if you have one) and we will use the information gained, and hopefully produce new plants. In future we hope to collect seeds and exchange these and cuttings amongst ourselves.

We have contacted U3A Sources for a list of available videos and other helpful material.
