The group meet at the Lloyd Street carpark where the leaders discuss where we are going. Those who do not take turns using their cars, please give a minimum of £1 to the driver, more if we go longer distances. The walk will usually consist of a 3 to 5 miles and some members of the Group will then go on to a local pub for lunch before returning home.

Please come suitably clothed for all weather conditions and have adequate foot wear. Some of the terrain may be a bit rough and we often go over several stiles.

If you wish to bring a snack or a drink we have a "banana break" of about 5 - 10 minutes half way through the walk.
